ETHICAL MANAGEMENT

Ethics management is not only complying with the legal responsibility but also reflecting the ethical expectation of society to the decision making and activity of the enterprise.
Kumho Tire understands the social responsibility of the enterprise and has a principle to comply actively with the expectations.

PRINCIPLES

Kumho Tire has declared the following ethics principle to create an enterprise of world class that creates value, enterprise that is together with the employees, and the enterprise that is loved by the neighbors, and to establish recommended actions and value judgment criteria for the executives.

COMPLIANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

ISO37301 & ISO37001 Certification

Kumho Tire has obtained ISO37301 (Compliance Management System) and ISO37001 (Anti-Corruption Management System) certifications to manage potential risks related to compliance and corruption. Risk elements with concerns for company regulations and law violations areevaluated using a heat map, in terms of inherent and residual risk levels and importance.

Internal Diagnostic and Self-Audit

Kumho Tire operates an internal diagnosis system along with the internal accounting management system and compliance officer system based on relevant laws as part of its internal control system. We have introduced an internal diagnosis system to check risk items that may occur during the approval stage and everyday work of each department to enhance the independent risk management capabilities of all employees. Kumho Tire is conducting self-audit on compliance as well as preventing risks in advance. A compliance officer (team leader level) voluntarily inspects unfair trade practices and violations of related laws in 14 fields and approximately 700 items of all domestic and overseas sectors twice a year, carrying out corruption risk prevention through sharing cases of fair trade-related violations, requesting compliance, and posting amendments to the law. The compliance officer continuously checks whether non-compliance items have been corrected based on the results of self-audit, reporting the results to the regular board of directors every year.
